Dear parents,

We hope and pray that everyone is safe and that you have spent a great summer vacation.

 

As many of you are aware, our school had to close last March due to the COVID-19 situation, and we have offered instructions virtually until the end of the year.

 

Since the situation is not fully resolved yet, our school permit is not renewed and the educational board has took the decision to offer the language classes online and not in-person until a further notice.

 

For that, our weekend classes will resume this fall 2022 online offering synchronous and asynchronous learning for our students in Iqraa Barrhaven.

 

For the Arabic language, we have subscribed to an interactive website (https://www.alefbata.com/) specialized in Arabic language built 100% online. Students will have interactive activities, educational games, and many learning tools that students will enjoy and benefit greatly! In addition to this website, teachers will meet students virtually using the google meet every week to go over the class content. They will also give them a variety of other activities that can do in groups or individually.

For registering in our Arabic program:

 

• If you have registered for the 2020-2021 Fall or 2021 summer program, please check your email inbox as an email was sent from (automation@app.smartsheet.com) titled “returning student”. In this email you will find instructions to renew your child registration. If you cannot find the “returning student” form sent from the smartsheet, please send an email to: pli-ilp@ecolecatholique.ca and someone from staff will contact you at the earliest possible.

For registering in our Islamic program:

​

• Saturday from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM for Islamic Studies and Qur'an memorization, run directly under AMA. The fee for this portion is $125 per student for the full-year. Click here to register.

• You must write on the "Message" section of the e-Transfer: Parent name and children names
  (No password is required, you can pay the fees of multiple students of the same family in one e-Transfer transaction).This will cover Qur'an memorization; Islamic studies (Sirah, Aqidah, Ebadat..etc) based on the student's age and level. An invitation will be sent to the parent's email for all scheduled sessions. Please pay the fees by e-transfer to this email: iqraabarrhaven@amacentre.ca
